The Blue Angel for Data Centers
As the German government’s environmental label, Blue Angel has been setting standards for environmentally friendly products and services for more than 40 years. 1. Advisory concept (assessment & actual analysis)
In the inventory, our engineers evaluate and analyze all relevant technical systems as part of an initial inspection of the Data Center. The analysis concludes with an explanatory report that provides clear recommendations for action.
2. Data collection for the application
In the course of collecting data, we determine all the key figures and data required for a certification process. In order to obtain a reliable assessment, data is collected over a continuous period of time throughout the certification process. A selection of the determined or calculated key figures can be found in the following list:
- PUE (energy efficient Data Center infrastructure)
- JAZ (energy efficiency of the cooling system)
- MP evu MP ee (power requirements RZ)
- MP it2 (power requirement IT)
- MP ks (current requirement cooling system)
- MP so (electricity requirement other)

3. Creation of the certification documents
In the final step, we create all the documents required for the certification process, including:
